Special Forces Week |

Due to the popularity of our Special Forces Nights, the Essex Rifles Server has been set to SF for the week 24th November - 30th November 2008.
The server will run SF Vehicles and Infantry profiles alternating during the week and starting with Vehicles on the 24th.

Starting this coming Monday 20th October 2008, the structure of the server will be changing as follows:
Fri, Sun & Tues will be Infantry Only based maps.
Sat, Mon Thurs will be vehicles based maps
This leaves Weds which will alternate as BF2 Special Forces or Euro Force open to all, and Clan Member nights only which clan members can choose a Mod to play.
Clan nights will be open to clan members only!
Weds 22nd will be open to all and the server set to Special Forces.

Today we have made a donation to PBBANS who's growth over the last year has propelled them to nearly 5,500 servers currently streaming.
Because of this growth, so do the bandwidth requirements, server limitations, etc. and unfortunately this isn't free. Pbbans would like to continue to expand their services and offer the community an even wider array of tools to keep our servers clean.
PBBans is a non-profit organization and survive solely on donations from their supporters.
They need to purchase a new server blade for a database server and are looking to raise an additional $1,500. Any donation, no matter how small helps them to keep on top of all things required to keep PBBans as a premiere Anti-Cheat site.
Anyone who has been with PBBans for any length of time will attest to the fact that its not often you see the begging bowl getting passed around.

Welcome to the new home of Essex Rifles, we have taken the decision to go live although there are still some bugs outstanding. Over the coming weeks we will be ironing these out and moving the Gallery database over from the old site.
The downside to starting from scratch is that you have to also, therefore please register if you have not down so already.
There is an area in the forum for any bugs you may come across, a lot we are already aware of, but if you can post them there we can then update you on the progress of correcting them.

Thinking about joining the [ER] Clan??
Well there's a number of ways you can let us know of your interest. Firstly we encourage you to register on our Forum and introduce yourself to us in the Recruiting section.
Anyone under the age of 18 needs to have a parent who is a full member, however we are prepared to accept younger mature players who may wish to join, please do not let your age prevent you from applying to join.
Important Notice to Parents
The downside of things is that the servers have to be paid for, all clan donations and subscriptions are used to fund our Gaming, Communication and Hosting (this website) servers Therefore all members will be required to subscribe to the clan at a rate of £5 per month, this will give members a guaranteed slot when the servers become busy, Access to Clan Members area of the Forum, The Gallery with you own personal Album Webspace, Downloads and should you wish an Essex Rifles Email Address all for less than 16 Pence per Day!!!!!
