I am posting this because there are many of you who visit our servers regularly and often pop on to the website. You may not have access to clan area discussions but I feel I need to address this issue with our regulars and let you know about ESSEX RIFLES policies.
I actually take pride in the fact that ER admins are always on the server when the games are running. If not then there's one easily @ hand for anyone to contact via ventrilo.
[ER] admins are also clued-up with the anti cheat side of things. We even have a dedicated group of them who check screenshots daily! If anything suspicious is found they are submitted to the powers that be and they then find themselves on the MBI. All our serves stream.
If you are visiting the server and are suspicious of a particular player, I would really appreciate that you give admins the time to investigate fully, without mithering them. If they decide there isn't evidence enough to ban then that is their perogative. Wherever possible we want to gather enough evidence for an MBI ban, before we ban locally.
Admins want to play to, without tabbing out of the game to check the latest "suspicious" player.
If you'd rather visit a server that bans for hackusations, without evidence then go for it. It's not what [ER] stands for and never will be. However, I assure you all, we do take this seriously and endeavour to keep our servers fair and cheat free!

Good news for all clan members we have looked at the financial situation and the current climate, our gaming servers are paid up to date and the clan is in a healthy position.
Considering the high quality of our present membership and the continual support that you all provide to us, we have decided to drop our monthly subscription to £4 for all current and new members

Today we have made a donation to PBBANS who's growth over the last year has propelled them to nearly 5,500 servers currently streaming.
Because of this growth, so do the bandwidth requirements, server limitations, etc. and unfortunately this isn't free. Pbbans would like to continue to expand their services and offer the community an even wider array of tools to keep our servers clean.
PBBans is a non-profit organization and survive solely on donations from their supporters.
They need to purchase a new server blade for a database server and are looking to raise an additional $1,500. Any donation, no matter how small helps them to keep on top of all things required to keep PBBans as a premiere Anti-Cheat site.
Anyone who has been with PBBans for any length of time will attest to the fact that its not often you see the begging bowl getting passed around.

Thinking about joining the [ER] Clan??
Well there's a number of ways you can let us know of your interest. Firstly we encourage you to register on our Forum and introduce yourself to us in the Recruiting section.
Anyone under the age of 18 needs to have a parent who is a full member, however we are prepared to accept younger mature players who may wish to join, please do not let your age prevent you from applying to join.
Important Notice to Parents
The downside of things is that the servers have to be paid for, all clan donations and subscriptions are used to fund our Gaming, Communication and Hosting (this website) servers Therefore all members will be required to subscribe to the clan at a rate of £5 per month, this will give members a guaranteed slot when the servers become busy, Access to Clan Members area of the Forum, The Gallery with you own personal Album Webspace, Downloads and should you wish an Essex Rifles Email Address all for less than 16 Pence per Day!!!!!

Help for Heroes |

Essex Rifles is proud to support Help for Heroes, we all tend to lose track of the fact that when we die or are injured within the game we look forward to our trusty medic zapping us with his defibrillator, throwing a medi pack down for us to walk over and heal or in the worst case spawning again at a safe spawn point.
However back in the real world the above cannot be further from the truth, however there are teams of these super medics healing and helping our troops who have been injured in the many theatres of war that our young men and woman find there selves pitched into.
Regardless of your viewpoint or opinion on these wars we need to show our support for our young men and woman, those who are not stuck within a video game but fighting on the front lines.

Anyone found to be cheating on our server by our Admins WILL be reported.
Recently Surfy has been indoctrinated into the staff ranks at PBBANS, this can only re-enforce our commitment to having a cheater free server.
We are delighted to support all our anti cheat partner, as the server provide is funded by donations alone.
